About this collection

The Memorial Clock was erected in 1925 to hounour those from the Manning district who had enlisted in the First World War. The completed memorial was unveiled on 6 June 1925.

Originaly at the intersection of Victoria and Manning Streets, it was moved to its present location in 1966, to improve the traffic flow on the Pacific Highway (Victoria Street).
